After opening to ₹8 crore net on Friday, the film climbed to ₹11 crore net on Day 2, a healthy 37.5% jump that pushed its two-day India net total to ₹19 crore.
The numbers tell a clear story of improving footfalls. On its first day the film played across 6,746 shows with around 26% overall occupancy. Saturday saw a slight increase in shows to 6,887 and occupancy rose to 34%, reflecting better audience turnout once word-of-mouth started circulating.
India gross after two days stands at ₹22.60 crore. Overseas also contributed, with the film adding ₹1.25 crore on Saturday to take its total overseas gross to ₹2.25 crore. That brings the worldwide gross to ₹24.85 crore so far. The Day 2 growth is encouraging for a film that opened in a relatively quiet window and faced competition from the Avengers: Endgame encore release.
The higher occupancy and extra shows on Saturday suggest families and younger audiences were more willing to buy tickets over the weekend. Ticket sales clearly picked up as the day progressed, which is typical for films relying on positive buzz rather than pure star power alone.
With Sunday still to come, the film will look to build further on this base. A strong weekend could help The Vvaan stabilise its position and give the makers a clearer picture of its long-term prospects. For now, the ₹11 crore Saturday figure and the jump in occupancy mark a positive step after the opening day.
