Zootopia 2 finally hits Indian screens tomorrow, November 28, 2025, after a massive global start. The Disney sequel has already shattered records in China and pulled huge previews in the US, and advances here are looking steady for a family animated film. With dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, it’s getting good traction in multiplexes, especially from kids and families.
Advance booking for night shows on opening day is filling up nicely. Prime time slots in major chains like PVR, Cinepolis, and INOX are touching 55-65% in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Evening and night shows are leading the charge. Early estimates now point towards ₹7-9 Cr net in India for day 1, which would be a solid start.
Bookings picked up through the day, especially for weekend matinee and afternoon shows. Overall advance occupancy for day 1 is hovering around 40-45% across India. About Zootopia 2 and Future Prediction
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back in another fun, chaotic adventure – this time chasing a reptile that’s turning Zootopia upside down. The animation looks sharper than ever, the jokes land well for both kids and adults, and the voice cast is spot on. Early reviews are very positive, which should help word of mouth.
In India, if families turn up in big numbers over the weekend, Zootopia 2 can easily cross ₹60-80 Cr lifetime. A ₹25-30 Cr opening weekend looks quite possible with the holiday vibe and no major Bollywood clash. It’s set to be one of the bigger Hollywood animated films of the year here.
