Venkatesh’s family entertainer Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 (also known as AK 47), directed by Trivikram Srinivas, has completed eight days in theatres. Released on 30 October 2026, the film opened to a decent response and showed growth over the first weekend before settling into the usual weekday pattern.
Here’s the day-wise India gross performance so far:
- Day 1 (Fri, 30 Oct): ₹11.40 Cr from 3,073 shows at 44.1% occupancy
- Day 2 (Sat, 31 Oct): ₹12.20 Cr from 3,192 shows at 48.1% occupancy (up 6.7%)
- Day 3 (Sun, 1 Nov): ₹13.25 Cr from 3,273 shows at 52.1% occupancy (up another 8.2%)
- Day 4 (Mon, 2 Nov): ₹3.95 Cr from 2,981 shows at 24.1% occupancy

- Day 7 (Thu, 5 Nov): ₹1.90 Cr from 1,635 shows at 24.0% occupancy
- Day 8 (Fri, 6 Nov): ₹1.35 Cr from 1,208 shows at 23.0% occupancy (down about 30% from Day 7)
After eight days, the film has collected ₹49.55 Cr gross (₹42.30 Cr net) in India. Overseas markets have added ₹16.25 Cr, taking the worldwide total to ₹65.80 Cr.
The opening weekend was clearly the strongest phase. Occupancy kept rising from Friday through Sunday, and the number of shows also increased slightly. That pointed to positive word of mouth among family audiences, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which continue to drive the bulk of the business. Karnataka has contributed steadily as well.
From Monday onwards the drop was sharp, which is common after a big weekend. By Day 8 the show count had come down significantly and occupancy settled in the early to mid 20% range. Ticket sales and average collections per show have cooled, but the film is still holding a decent number of screens heading into the second weekend.
The reported budget is in the ₹110–128 crore range including promotions. At the current worldwide total of around ₹66 Cr, the film still has some distance to cover before it can be called a full recovery. The second weekend will be important to see if family audiences return in stronger numbers.
Overall, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 has delivered a solid first week with a strong opening weekend, followed by the expected weekday correction. The next few days will decide how far it can push its final theatrical numbers.
