About The Film
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows a marginalised tribal community caught in a long struggle against discrimination, fighting simply to be recognised as citizens with an identity of their own.
At the heart of this fight stands an unexpected leader, played by Nani, whose journey becomes intertwined with the community’s larger battle against systemic oppression. Rather than framing itself purely as a mass action drama, the film is built around a deeply personal thread, an emotional bond between a mother and her son, which the director has described as the true core of the story.
This relationship becomes the emotional anchor even as the community’s fight for dignity and belonging plays out on a much bigger canvas. Standing in opposition is Vikram Malik, played by Raghav Juyal, whose presence adds a formidable threat to the community’s struggle.
