Ranabaali has completed six days at the box office, and the numbers show a film that is holding on with some grit even as the weekday slowdown kicks in. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period action drama, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, released on 16 October 2026. Made on a reported budget of around ₹120-130 crore, the movie needed a strong opening and solid holds to stay in the race.
On Day 6 (Wednesday, 21 October), Ranabaali collected an estimated ₹5.50 crore net in India. That is a drop of about 22.5% from Tuesday’s ₹7.10 crore. Occupancy sat at 46% across 2,232 shows, with morning shows weaker and afternoon and evening shows picking up better. Footfalls for the day crossed 4.5 lakh. The film sold a healthy number of tickets in the Telugu states, especially in Telangana and Andhra, while other regions stayed modest.
Here is the day-wise India net performance so far:
- Day 1 (Friday, 16 Oct): ₹9.25 Cr (57% occupancy, 2,515 shows)
- Day 2 (Saturday, 17 Oct): ₹7.30 Cr (53% occupancy)
- Day 3 (Sunday, 18 Oct): ₹7.50 Cr (56% occupancy)
- Day 4 (Monday, 19 Oct): ₹5.40 Cr (46% occupancy)
- Day 5 (Tuesday, 20 Oct): ₹7.10 Cr (56% occupancy)
- Day 6 (Wednesday, 21 Oct): ₹5.50 Cr (46% occupancy, 2,232 shows)
Total India net now stands at ₹42.05 crore. India gross has reached ₹48.90 crore. Overseas added another ₹0.50 crore on Day 6, taking the overseas total to ₹10.75 crore. Worldwide gross sits at ₹59.65 crore after six days.
The opening weekend was decent but not explosive. Friday’s strong start was followed by the usual weekend pattern, then a clear Monday dip. Tuesday saw a nice recovery, which suggested some positive word of mouth in core markets. Wednesday’s drop is expected for a midweek slot, especially after the festive buzz of the release period. Ticket sales and occupancy numbers show the film is still finding audiences in single screens and multiplexes across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with places like Vizag and Warangal holding better than the metros outside the Telugu belt.
At this stage, Ranabaali is steadily adding to its total, but the gap between the reported budget and current collections means the second weekend will be crucial. If the holds improve and more walk-ins come in, the film can push closer to a healthier recovery. For now, the Day 6 numbers keep the conversation going.
