About The Film
America America 2 follows Nudi, a workaholic AI engineer settled in Seattle, played by Shanvi Srivastava, whose carefully ordered life is disrupted when she unexpectedly crosses paths with an old flame.
This chance encounter stirs up feelings and memories she had long set aside, forcing her to reckon with a part of her past she thought she had moved beyond.
As the story unfolds, Nudi finds herself caught between the pull of old emotions and the responsibilities and choices that define her present, including her relationship with her daughter, Siri.
Nirup Bhandari and Pruthvi Ambaar play characters closely tied to this emotional journey, each representing a different chapter of Nudi’s life.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Seattle, the film leans on quiet, reflective moments rather than dramatic twists, following Nudi as she navigates love, regret and the weight of decisions made years ago.
Without revealing how her past and present ultimately reconcile, the story builds toward an emotional resolution centred on Nudi and her daughter, staying true to the director’s known style of gentle, heartfelt storytelling.
