About The Film

Don’t Trouble the Trouble follows Suri, a magician played by Fahadh Faasil, whose ordinary performance takes an extraordinary turn when he accidentally makes a young girl vanish using a spell during one of his shows.

What should have been just another trick spirals into something far beyond his control. The girl, played by newcomer Ssara Palekar, turns out to be no ordinary child at all, she is a genie with the power to grant wishes.

As she begins exploring the city on her own, Suri finds himself having to navigate the chaos that follows, especially since her powers have a tendency to spiral out of control whenever she gets angered.

Blending fantasy with comedy, the film follows Suri as he tries to manage a situation far stranger than anything he has ever conjured on stage, caught between protecting the girl and containing the unpredictable consequences of her abilities.

Without revealing how Suri and the genie’s unlikely journey together unfolds, the film promises a mix of humour, wonder and mild chaos as an ordinary magician finds himself entangled with genuine magic.
