Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period action drama Ranabaali has shown a steady recovery on its fifth day at the box office. Released on 16 October 2026, the film continues its theatrical run with decent holds in key Telugu markets despite mixed reviews.
On Day 5 (Tuesday), Ranabaali collected approximately ₹6.75 crore net in India across 2,234 shows, registering a solid 25% jump over Monday’s ₹5.40 crore. Occupancy improved to around 54-56%, with stronger numbers in the afternoon and evening shows, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Total footfalls on Day 5 crossed 5.45 lakh.
Here is the day-wise India net collection so far:
Day 1 (Friday): ₹9.25 Cr
Day 2 (Saturday): ₹7.30 Cr
Day 3 (Sunday): ₹7.50 Cr
Day 4 (Monday): ₹5.40 Cr
Day 5 (Tuesday): ₹6.75 Cr
This takes the five-day India net total to ₹36.20 crore, with India gross standing at ₹42.15 crore. Overseas markets added around ₹0.75 crore on Day 5, pushing the overseas gross to ₹10.25 crore. The worldwide gross now stands at ₹52.40 crore.
Made on a reported budget of around ₹120 crore, Ranabaali has managed a respectable opening weekend but faces the usual weekday challenges. Ticket sales and theatre occupancy remain healthier in core Telugu centres, while other regions are contributing modestly. The Tuesday rise, helped by festive holiday timing, offers some positive momentum heading into the rest of the week.
Trade circles will now watch how the film holds over the coming days to see if it can build further on this recovery.
