About The Film
Sardar 2 follows a present day intelligence officer named Vijay Prakash, played by Karthi, who is pulled into a dangerous new mission when a threat called Black Dagger emerges.
As the investigation increase, the story moves back and forth between the present and flashbacks connected to a legendary spy known as Sardar, also played by Karthi in a dual role.
Without giving away how the two timelines connect, the film looks into a bond between a father figure and a son figure who are both, in different ways, tied to the world of spying.
Their paths cross as the mission grows more serious, forcing them to confront old choices while dealing with a very real threat to national security.
S. J. Suryah plays a powerful rival who stands in their way, while Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath and Rajisha Vijayan play important roles connected to the two leads.
The narrative mixed present day action with flash into the past, focusing on idea of duty, sacrifice and the personal cost of a life spent in the shadows, all building toward a larger confrontation that the film keeps under wraps until the audience sees it for themselves.
