Mirzapur The Movie is maintaining solid weekday momentum on Day 5. The Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Ravi Kishan starrer, which released on 4 September, has already crossed the ₹110 crore India net mark and continues to draw audiences on Tuesday.
Here is the day-wise India net breakdown so far:
Day 1 (Friday): ₹25.75 crore from 11,135 shows at 42.7% occupancy
Day 2 (Saturday): ₹32 crore, occupancy rising to 52.7% across roughly 11,256 shows
Day 3 (Sunday): ₹36 crore, peaking at 60.6% occupancy with about 11,344 shows
Day 4 (Monday): ₹16 crore across around 10,570 shows
This took the four-day India net total to approximately ₹109.75 crore and India gross to ₹131.55 crore. Worldwide gross stood near ₹154 crore after Day 4.
On Day 5, early tracking showed the film playing across 3,518 shows with a live collection of ₹1.32 crore by afternoon and occupancy around 24%. That pushed the cumulative India net past ₹111 crore and India gross beyond ₹133 crore.
Ticket sales on platforms remained healthy through the day, with morning and afternoon trends outperforming the previous Monday’s corresponding window in several reports.
The opening weekend delivered nearly ₹94 crore net, driven by rising occupancy rather than a big jump in shows. The controlled Monday drop and steady Tuesday footfalls indicate positive word-of-mouth is helping the film hold well into the week.
Final Day 5 numbers will firm up after evening and night shows. With this pace, Mirzapur The Movie looks set for a healthy first-week total as it continues its theatrical run.
