About The Film

Anireekshita Atithigalu, which means “Unexpected Guests,” follows six people who find themselves unexpectedly brought together at a guest house tucked away in the middle of a forest, all over the course of a single day.

None of them arrive expecting anything more than a brief stop, but their paths crossing turns out to set off far more than a simple chance meeting.

As the day unfolds, what begins as an ordinary gathering slowly shifts into something far more tense, with hidden motives and buried pasts starting to surface among the guests.

Vivek Simha’s character finds himself at the centre of this unfolding situation, as the group’s forced closeness in an isolated setting starts to reveal cracks beneath the surface. Blending elements of crime, survival and a quiet love story, the film builds its tension gradually, relying on character dynamics rather than large action set pieces.

Without revealing how the day at the guest house ultimately unfolds, Anireekshita Atithigalu follows its six strangers as circumstance forces them to confront each other, and themselves, before the day is through.
