About Dipholu
Dipholu follows Kuhi, a young doctor who has recently completed medical college. As part of her mandatory rural service, she is sent to a neglected village near the Dipholu River. Life in the village is different from what Kuhi is used to.
She meets Neel, a dedicated schoolteacher who cares deeply about the local people. Their different views lead to disagreements at first, but they gradually begin to understand each other. As Kuhi becomes involved in the village’s problems, she develops a stronger connection with its people.
Her experiences help her discover the importance of community, relationships and serving others. The story combines romance, humour and emotional moments against the backdrop of rural Assamese life.
