About The Film
Aasha follows a headstrong, sharply observant mother, played by Urvashi, whose life takes a dramatic turn after she and her daughter, played by Aishwarya Lekshmi, are involved in a road accident.
What could have been resolved quietly instead spirals into something much bigger, drawing the family into a prolonged and bitter conflict.
Standing on the other side of this clash is Joju George’s character, a rebellious figure with a history of run ins with the law. As pride and stubbornness take over on both sides, a case that should have ended amicably escalates into a full blown legal battle, with neither side willing to back down.
What begins as a close, layered mother-daughter drama gradually shifts gears into a tense thriller, as the fallout from the accident pulls in more people and raises the stakes further. Vijayaraghavan plays another significant role connected to this unfolding conflict.
Without revealing how the confrontation between the two strong-willed leads is finally settled, the film follows Aasha as she refuses to let go, even as the consequences of holding her ground grow more serious with each turn.
