About The Film
Citylights follows an ordinary young man, played by Vinay Rajkumar, who arrives in Bengaluru carrying hopes of building a better life for himself.
Like countless others drawn to the city’s promise, he soon finds that the reality of urban life is far tougher than he imagined, filled with setbacks that test his resolve at every step.
Alongside him is a woman played by Monisha Vijaykumar, whose own journey through the city’s struggles becomes closely intertwined with his.
As their paths cross, the film follows how their individual hopes and hardships begin to shape each other, with love growing quietly amid the pressures and uncertainties of city life.
Set against the ever moving backdrop of Bengaluru, the story leans on realistic, grounded storytelling rather than dramatic spectacle, focusing on the small victories and disappointments that define the lives of people chasing something better.
Without revealing how their individual struggles or their bond with each other ultimately play out, Citylights follows its two leads as they hold onto hope while navigating a city that offers no easy promises.
