Kadaknath is a folk crime thriller that attempts to blend mystery, fear, and cultural elements from Gujarat’s tribal regions. Directed by Kaushik Garasiya, the film uses the Bhili dialect and local folklore to create a unique atmosphere. It follows a poultry farmer who gets entangled in a series of grisly killings and mystical hallucinations. While the concept of a folk thriller rooted in Gujarat’s culture is interesting and different from regular commercial Gujarati cinema, the film has failed to generate any significant pre-release excitement or curiosity among audiences.

At the box office, Kadaknath has opened to a very poor response.
