About The Film
Mitti De Putt is set against the backdrop of a long-standing feud between two villages, a rivalry that has been passed down across generations and continues to shape the lives of those caught in it.
What begins as old, deep rooted bad blood soon escalates into something far more personal, pulling the central protagonist into a conflict he never wanted but cannot walk away from.
As tensions boil over, the young man at the heart of the story, played by Dev Kharoud, finds himself having to defend his family’s ancestral pride while also fighting to protect his mother, who becomes caught in the fallout of this generational rivalry.
Vikramjeet Virk plays a key figure closely tied to this struggle, with the story exploring themes of courage, identity and sacrifice as the conflict between the two villages intensifies.
Rooted firmly in the soil and traditions of Punjab, the film follows its protagonist as he is forced to stand his ground, balancing loyalty to his roots with the personal cost of the fight ahead.
Without revealing how the feud is ultimately settled, Mitti De Putt builds toward a reckoning between honour, family and the weight of history that refuses to stay buried.
