Venkatesh’s latest family entertainer, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 (also called AK 47), directed by Trivikram Srinivas, hit the screens on 30 October 2026 and has delivered a steady opening. The numbers are in, and they show a film that worked hard with limited shows to put up a respectable first day total.
On Day 1 the film collected ₹9.50 crore net in India. The India gross stood at ₹11.15 crore. Overseas markets added ₹5.50 crore, taking the worldwide gross to ₹16.65 crore. That puts it among the better Telugu openers of 2026 so far, especially when you look at how few shows it was given. The film played in 3,073 shows across India and recorded 44.1% occupancy.
Average collection per show came to around ₹30,914. Footfalls crossed 6.5 lakh. Advance bookings excluding blocked seats were roughly ₹2.58 crore; the final Day 1 number worked out to more than four times that, which means a healthy walk-in contribution once the shows started.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contributed ₹9.25 crore gross almost 83% of the India total. Karnataka followed with ₹1.40 crore.
Tamil Nadu managed ₹30 lakh, while the rest of India and Kerala made up the balance with smaller figures. The core Telugu markets clearly carried the opening. Ticket sales and occupancy stayed decent through the day, with evening and night shows performing better than morning slots, as is common for family dramas. Hyderabad remained the single biggest city, but the overall territory hold in the two Telugu states kept the numbers steady.
Budget details have not been officially locked in the public domain yet, though the scale of the production and the cast (Venkatesh, Srinidhi Shetty, Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj and others) suggest a mid to big range family entertainer. The first day numbers give it a decent platform. Weekend growth will decide how far it goes.
For now, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No: 47 has opened with a clear, data backed start. The combination of solid occupancy on a limited show count and strong home turf contribution is the takeaway from Day 1.
