About The Film
Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass follows the classic cat and mouse duo during a chase inside a museum.
They accidentally activate a mysterious magical compass that transports them to a fantastical world inspired by Chinese mythology.
Stranded in this new setting filled with magical creatures and ancient secrets, Tom and Jerry must team up with new allies and face various challenges to find a way back home.
The story combines the traditional slapstick rivalry of Tom and Jerry with elements of adventure and fantasy. Zhang Gang directs and wrote the screenplay.
The film was produced by China Film Co., Ltd., Warner Bros. Pictures and Origin Animation. It is the first fully computer animated feature length entry in the Tom and Jerry franchise.
