The film opened massively and held well through the first two weeks, especially in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and the Telugu states. Shows have come down gradually as expected, but evening and night occupancy in key centres like Chennai still looked healthy on Day 15.
Made on an estimated budget of ₹240–300 crore (some reports put it closer to ₹350 crore including promotions), Jailer 2 has already recovered its cost several times over and is now the highest grossing Tamil film worldwide, comfortably ahead of earlier records. With the third weekend and Diwali approaching, the film still has room to add more.Overall, this is a rock-solid run for the Tiger Muthuvel Pandian sequel. The numbers speak for themselves strong opening, steady holds, and a clear path toward higher milestones.
