About the Film
Evil Dead Burn brings the franchise back with a focus on family bonds tested by supernatural horror. The story follows Alice, a young widow still grieving her husband. She travels to a quiet, remote home to spend time with her in-laws and try to find some peace.
What begins as a chance to reconnect quickly turns terrifying when certain family members stumble upon the ancient Book of the Dead and unleash forces they cannot control. Deadites soon possess several relatives, forcing the survivors into a desperate fight for their lives.
The film leans into the series’ trademark mix of gruesome practical effects, dark humor and non-stop tension. Director Sébastien Vanicek keeps the action visceral while adding his own visual approach to the chaos inside the house.
Souheila Yacoub leads the cast as Alice, trying to hold on to sanity and protect what remains of her family. Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan and Erroll Shand play key supporting roles that drive much of the emotional and horrific conflict.
Produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, the movie runs for 109 minutes and stays true to the raw, intense spirit fans expect from the Evil Dead universe. It is mainly in English and aims to deliver a relentless, in-your-face horror experience.
