State of Rama: Dharyu Dhani Nu Thay is a new Gujarati family drama that released in theatres today. It tells the story of a couple whose worlds are shaped by very different beliefs. Directed by Bhavesh Gorasiya, the film stars Prinal Oberoi and Rurook Dave in the central roles of Bhakti and Yash.
The movie looks at how love, logic, and faith play out in everyday family life. Yash is a practical man who trusts only hard work and reason. His wife Bhakti, on the other hand, lives with deep devotion and faith in Lord Ramapir.
Their differing approaches create tension and moments of understanding as they navigate life together. Early reactions to the film are still building since it released only today. From what is visible on social media and trailer discussions, many people appreciate the sincere attempt to talk about the clash between modern thinking and traditional faith inside a household.
Some viewers have liked the emotional connect and the way the leads portray their characters. At the same time, a section feels the story follows a path that has been seen in several other family dramas before.
Overall, the sentiment right now is cautiously positive among those who enjoy content-driven regional cinema rather than big commercial entertainers. The film will appeal most to families who like thoughtful dramas with a message.
It has a clear cultural connect for Gujarati audiences and touches on issues many households face today. Its strength lies in the relatable theme and honest performances. However, it may feel slow or predictable to viewers who prefer faster pacing or more dramatic twists.
There is no high-voltage action or mass elements here. If you are someone who watches films for emotional depth and family values, this one is worth a theatre visit with your family. Others can comfortably wait for it to arrive on streaming platforms.
Final Verdict: State of Rama: Dharyu Dhani Nu Thay is a sincere and heartfelt family drama that handles the conflict between faith and logic with honesty. It does not try to be larger than life and stays rooted in its emotional core. For audiences looking for meaningful Gujarati cinema, it offers a decent one-time watch.
