Our Quick Review of Bandook
Bandook dives into a serial-killer plot entwined with stories of orphaned children. It’s moody and intense. Some moments hold you with emotion and suspense. But the low tone and frequent timeline jumps make it hard to stay invested. It’s a nice attempt at a gritty thriller, but it doesn’t fully land. For fans of dark crime dramas with emotional weight — it might work. For general audiences — it’s too slow and disjointed.

Conclusion
Bandook had ambition — a dark crime story, emotional stakes, and strong visuals. But it failed to connect with audiences at the box office. Its complex plot and slow pace weighed down its impact. While performances and mood give it art-house appeal, the nearly zero revenue marks it a commercial failure. As a standalone crime-thriller, it’s interesting — but only for niche viewers who enjoy slow-burn suspense stories.
