It’s Thursday night and Cocktail 2 has closed its 21st day with an estimated ₹0.39 crore net. The Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna starrer played across roughly 1,105 shows with occupancy hovering around 12%.
The number is down slightly from yesterday’s ₹0.45 crore, which is normal for a mid-week in the fourth week. Screens have already shrunk and new releases are taking priority in most multiplexes.

Overall Collection
- India Net: ₹94.29 crore
- India Gross: ₹112.39 crore
- Worldwide Gross: ₹142.33 crore (as of Day 20)
The film had a strong start but the legs have been average because of mixed word-of-mouth and heavy competition for screens. It has already beaten the original Cocktail’s lifetime India gross and remains one of the better performing romantic comedies of the year for Shahid Kapoor.
Budget & Verdict
Made at a reported ₹150 crore landing cost, the film is unlikely to become a big theatrical hit. However, smart non-theatrical deals (music, satellite, OTT) have already helped the producers recover a large part of the investment.
