About The Film
Aaram follows CI Anto Eapen, played by Saiju Kurup, a police officer who takes charge of a complex investigation that draws him into a web of suspects, clues and hidden motives. As the case unfolds, Anto must rely on careful, methodical police work to make sense of a mystery that is not as straightforward as it first appears.
With a large ensemble of characters played by Siddique, Askar Ali, Anju Kurian, Sudheesh and others surrounding the investigation, the film builds tension through the slow unraveling of connections between the people involved, each carrying their own secrets and possible motives tied to the case.
Rooted firmly in the investigative crime thriller genre, Aaram leans on procedural detail and suspense rather than large scale action, following Anto Eapen as he pieces together fragments of evidence to arrive at the truth. Without revealing what the central case actually involves or how it is ultimately solved, the film follows its lead officer’s pursuit of justice, keeping the specifics of the investigation under wraps for audiences to discover in theatres.
