Our Review
This movie is an emotional punch Vinay Kumar Vaidyanathan kills it as Austin, a guy battling pain and destiny in a 90s coastal vibe. Vishwi’s six tracks, including a cool Latin one, hit hard, and the story’s got raw heart. As a young fan, I felt the coastal Karnataka feels, but some slow bits drag. At 138 minutes, it’s intense and perfect for drama lovers, though not a massy crowd puller.
What Worked
- Vinay’s acting and direction – nails the emotional depth of Austin.
- Vishwi’s music – those soulful songs, especially the Latin track, are Insta hits.
- 90s coastal setting – visuals make you feel the Karnataka shore’s vibe.
What Didn’t Work
- Pacing lags in parts – could’ve been crisper for more impact.
- Limited theater run – mostly Karnataka, misses bigger audiences.
- Some old-school drama – feels a bit predictable at times.
