About The Film
Awarapan 2 is a Hindi language action thriller directed by Nitin Kakkar. It is produced by Vishesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films.
The film marks a sequel to the 2007 movie Awarapan and brings back Emraan Hashmi in the central role of Shivam Pandit. Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi play key supporting roles in the story.
Other actors in the cast include Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli, Atul Kumar, Aniruddh Rawal and Puran Gabbi. The screenplay continues the journey of the main character from the earlier film, focusing on themes of redemption, relationships and conflict.
The film was shot in locations including Bangkok, Rajasthan, Malaysia and Mumbai. Principal photography began in 2025 and wrapped up in 2026.
