Mahakavya Shri Ramayan Katha retells the timeless epic of Ramayana through the eyes of a young boy named Shashwat, who is guided through the story by Lord Hanuman, appearing in the form of a wise sage.
Through this framing, the film presents the eternal saga of Ram’s life for a new generation, keeping its spiritual and cultural essence at the centre. The story follows Lord Ram, played by Dev Sharma, and Devi Sita, played by Anjali Arora, tracing their journey from marriage through the years of exile that follow, a period marked by sacrifice, devotion and hardship.
