About The Film
Dorothy is set in a rural landscape shaped by toxic masculinity and violence, where two lifelong friends have grown up within the rigid, often harsh codes of their surroundings. Their long-standing bond and worldview are permanently upended after the arrival of Dorothy, a compassionate woman whose presence and outlook challenge everything the two friends have come to accept as normal.
