Our Review of Mehar

Yaar, Mehar looks like a proper emotional rollercoaster Raj Kundra as Karamjit is fighting to win back his family’s respect in rural Punjab, and the trailer’s got that heartfelt vibe with soulful music. Geeta Basra’s comeback adds extra charm, and Rakesh Mehta’s direction keeps it real.

The charity angle for Punjab flood victims is a big plus, but it’s up against big releases like Ghaati, and the niche story might not pull huge crowds. If you’re into family dramas with heart, this one’s gonna hit you deep.

What Worked

1. Raj Kundra’s intense debut as Karamjit he’s bringing raw emotion to the role.
2. Emotional trailer and the flood relief pledge, creating positive buzz on social media.
3. Geeta Basra’s comeback, adding star power and depth to the family drama.

What Didn’t Work

1. Clashing with bigger films like Ghaati and Madharaasi on September 5 could split audiences.
2. Limited mainstream appeal outside Punjabi speaking regions.
3. Modest production scale might not match the hype of larger Pollywood films.
