About The Film

The Dog Stars is based on Peter Heller’s post apocalyptic novel and is directed by Ridley Scott. The film is set after a devastating pandemic has wiped out most of the world’s population.

Jacob Elordi plays Hig, a former pilot who has survived the outbreak and lives in an isolated location with his dog. Josh Brolin plays Bangley, a former Marine who lives with Hig and helps protect their home.

The story changes direction when Hig receives a mysterious radio transmission. The signal gives him a reason to believe that there may still be other survivors and a possibility of finding a different life. He decides to travel beyond his familiar surroundings, taking him into unknown territory.
