The film stands out for being shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, a first for a big narrative feature. It mixes grand visuals with the human story at its heart.
Hoyte van Hoytema is behind the camera, and Ludwig Göransson composed the score. The runtime is about 2 hours 52 minutes, with an R rating for violence and language.
With a budget reported around $250 million, the movie uses practical effects where possible alongside digital work to bring the ancient world to life.
