Our Review
Trimukha presents an ambitious fusion of crime investigation and paranormal intrigue, distinguishing itself through dual narrative threads that converge in suspenseful revelations. Yogesh Kalle, in his debut lead, portrays the detective grappling with supernatural enigmas, while Sunny Leone infuses her character with enigmatic allure, supported by Aditya Srivastava’s authoritative CID officer. The ensemble, including Akriti Agarwal and Shakalaka Shankar, bolsters the film’s mix of tension and occasional levity.
Director Razesh Naidu’s vision, executed on a pan-India canvas, incorporates multilingual elements for wider accessibility, prioritizing atmospheric storytelling over relentless action. Initial audience and critical responses are emerging, with early feedback commending the film’s novel premise and technical prowess but noting a deliberate pace in establishing the dual arcs.
In comparison to recent multilingual thrillers like those with established stars, Trimukha leverages Sunny Leone’s draw for urban crowds yet contends with debutant-led challenges without dominant star influence. The ₹14 crore budget, including enhanced production and promotion, sets a breakeven around ₹25-30 crore gross, feasible with consistent holds if word-of-mouth amplifies the investigative twists.
The film’s outlook hinges on weekend attendance, regional retention (stronger in Telugu and Hindi belts), and organic social media buzz. Favourable reception could mirror mid-budget successes that thrive on genre innovation and curiosity. Conversely, if the paranormal-crime blend polarizes viewers, it may settle as an average earner.
Overall, Trimukha delivers a polished, visually compelling thriller with pan-Indian aspirations, bolstering content-driven cinema, though its long-term path will clarify with incoming data and audience consensus.
