Aadu 3 opened to a respectable response on its first day in theatres, collecting a solid figure that reflects the strong fan base for the franchise. The Jayasurya-led fantasy comedy registered healthy occupancy across Kerala and select centres in other regions on Thursday, March 19, 2026, despite facing competition from another major release. Early trade reports point to encouraging walk-ins and repeat interest from audiences familiar with the earlier Aadu films.
As the film enters its second day, early estimates indicate a modest uptick in collections. Friday being a weekend start is expected to bring improved footfalls, especially in urban and semi-urban areas where advance bookings remain steady. Positive early feedback on the humour and visual elements is helping sustain momentum, though the final numbers will depend on evening and night shows.
Overall, the trend so far suggests Aadu 3 is on track for a decent opening weekend. With the cult following of Shaji Pappan and his gang, the film has the potential to build further if word-of-mouth remains favourable in the coming days.

About Aadu 3 and Future Prediction
Aadu 3: One Last Ride – Part 1 marks the return of the beloved Shaji Pappan and his chaotic gang in a fresh fantasy-comedy adventure. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and starring Jayasurya in the lead, alongside Vinayakan, Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne and others, the film blends humour, action and multiple timelines. Produced by Vijay Babu and Venu Kunnappilly, it promises larger scale and visual effects compared to the previous entries in the franchise.
The story follows the gang as they navigate parallel worlds and unexpected twists, delivering the signature slapstick and witty dialogues that made the earlier Aadu films cult favourites. Early audience reactions highlight the cast’s chemistry and the director’s ability to keep the entertainment intact while expanding the universe.
Looking ahead, if the positive buzz continues over the weekend, Aadu 3 could see strong holds and emerge as one of the better openers for Jayasurya in recent years. Trade analysts predict the film may cross the ₹40 crore mark in India within the first week provided occupancy remains above 50 per cent in Kerala. The budget of ₹45 crore appears recoverable with steady growth, setting the stage for a potential hit verdict if the second and third weeks hold well.
