Mastiii 4 stayed steady on its second Saturday with around ₹1.30 crore coming in, a decent jump from Friday’s low numbers. On day 10 (second Sunday), the adult comedy is holding up okay in its second week despite stiff competition and limited family audiences due to the A rating. Early trends show it heading towards ₹1.45 crore today, which would be a small but welcome growth of about 12% from yesterday.
Evening update: Evening and night shows have picked up nicely in urban pockets, with occupancy touching 27-32% in many multiplexes. The film looks set to close day 10 around ₹1.45-1.55 crore in India. Overseas remains negligible as expected for this genre.
Afternoon update: Matinee shows saw better footfalls than morning, pushing average occupancy to 23-25% across India. Mass belts are quiet, but a few single screens and multiplexes in Maharashtra and Delhi-NCR are doing decent business. Day heading towards ₹1.40 crore+ now.
Morning update: Morning shows opened slow with overall occupancy around 12-14% nationally. A few centers in Gujarat and CP Berar reported slightly better filling, but most places remained low. Early estimates were in ₹1.30-1.50 crore range, and the day is tracking on similar lines to second Saturday so far.

About Mastiii 4 and Future Prediction
The fourth film in the popular Masti franchise brings back Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani in their usual chaotic married-men-chasing-fun roles, this time with a “reverse masti” twist where wives also get into the game. Milap Zaveri directs again, and the trailer had promised the same bold, unapologetic comedy the series is known for.
Unfortunately, mixed-to-negative reviews, strict A certificate and tough competition from bigger releases have kept family audiences away completely. The film never really took off after a below-par opening weekend and has been struggling on weekdays.
With no major Bollywood release next weekend, it might add another ₹3-4 crore in the second week, but that’s about it. Lifetime business is now looking to finish in the ₹22-24 crore range in India, which will be a losing proposition against its ₹35 crore budget (including marketing). Another disappointment for the once successful franchise after Great Grand Masti.
