Gatta Kusthi 2 reached theaters today with Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi returning as Veera and Keerthi. The sequel moves the story forward into their married life, where small misunderstandings and everyday family pressures create most of the drama.
Director Chella Ayyavu keeps things simple and crowd-friendly, mixing light sports moments with domestic comedy and a few emotional beats. The basic setup feels familiar yet easy to follow. Veera ends up handling more of the home responsibilities while Keerthi stays focused on her wrestling path.
A child enters the picture too, bringing extra warmth and a few cute moments. The film never tries to get too serious or complicated. It just shows how a couple deals with role changes, nosy relatives, and daily chaos in a way that stays entertaining. Early reactions from theaters and social media are largely positive.
Most people are calling it a proper family entertainer that works best when watched with a full house. Vishnu Vishal gets praise for his energetic comic timing, and many say he looks comfortable in the lighter portions.
Aishwarya Lekshmi brings quiet strength to her character, while the young actress playing their daughter has already won over quite a few viewers with her natural presence. Karunas stands out in the comedy scenes, especially the teacher and court portions that several people described as laugh-out-loud funny.
The second half seems to connect better with audiences, mixing decent emotions with commercial fun. Sean Roldan’s music also gets quiet appreciation for lifting the mood. A smaller section of viewers feels the film plays it safe and doesn’t match the freshness of the first part. Some found certain portions predictable.
Still, the overall buzz stays warm, with families stepping out saying they had a good time. This is the kind of movie you can take parents or kids to without worrying about content. It handles everyday family dynamics and small role reversals in a sensible, commercial way that most Indian audiences will recognise. The laughs land cleanly and the emotions stay light.
If you want something sharp, intense or very original, it might feel a little ordinary in places. But if you just want two hours of relaxed theater entertainment with people you love, it delivers exactly that.
Final Verdict: Gatta Kusthi 2 works as a clean, feel-good family sequel that leans on strong comedy support and sincere lead performances. It may not break new ground, but it gives audiences exactly what they came for — shared laughs and a pleasant time out. Worth a theater visit with family if you enjoyed the first film or simply want a no-stress watch this weekend.
