About The Film
Dahaan: The Evil Within centres on a young girl who, after opening a mysterious box inside an old, haunted mansion, unknowingly unleashes an ancient evil into the world.
As the presence begins to take hold of her, it slowly starts consuming her from within, changing her in ways her family struggles to understand.
With time running out, her siblings turn to a pastor for help, and together they try to make sense of the dark force that has entered their home.
What follows is a race against time as the family confronts the growing threat, uncertain of how far the evil has already spread and what it will take to stop it before it is too late.
Told as a supernatural horror thriller, the film builds its tension through atmosphere, sound and a sense of dread that grows steadily rather than relying only on sudden scares.
Without revealing how the curse is ultimately dealt with, the story follows the siblings and the pastor as they are pulled deeper into a fight against a force far older and more powerful than they first realised.
