Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period action drama Ranabaali has wrapped its first week in theatres with a mixed but steady performance. The film, which hit screens on October 16, collected around ₹45.20 crore net in India and roughly ₹52.55 crore gross domestically. Overseas added about ₹11.10 crore, taking the worldwide gross to approximately ₹63.65 crore.

It opened decently on Friday with ₹9.25 crore net from 2,515 shows and 57% occupancy. Around 7.12 lakh people walked into theatres that day. Saturday saw a drop to ₹7.30 crore, while Sunday held steady with a slight rise to ₹7.50 crore. The opening weekend total sat near ₹24 crore net in India.

Weekdays tested the film. Monday brought in ₹5.40 crore, but Dussehra on Tuesday gave it a boost to ₹7.10 crore. Wednesday slipped to ₹5.50 crore, and Thursday closed the week at ₹3.15 crore from 2,112 shows with occupancy around 31%. Ticket sales on the seventh day were estimated at 2.72 lakh, pushing the first-week footfalls close to 35.8 lakh.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana carried most of the weight, contributing the bulk of the collections. Karnataka added a smaller share, while other territories remained limited. Occupancy started strong but softened after the festive boost, with shows also coming down as the week progressed.

For a film that faced mixed talk and competition, the first-week numbers show decent hold in its core markets. Distributors in the Telugu states are in a relatively comfortable position after seven days, though the overall recovery will depend on how well it sustains in the second week. Overseas has been quieter than expected so far.

Ranabaali has sold a solid number of tickets in its opening week and given audiences a proper big-screen period experience. Whether the second weekend brings better holds or further drops will decide its final theatrical path. For now, it sits at a respectable ₹63-plus crore worldwide after seven days.
