Our Review of Challenge

Challenge is an action packed Odia drama that delivers high intense thrills with a story of justice, revenge, and emotional depth. Ardhendu Sahoo leads as the intense protagonist, facing off against Puneet Issar in a powerful antagonist role, while Elina Samantaray adds grace and emotion.

Directed by Sai Kiran Mangaraj, the film features gripping fight sequences, dramatic twists, and a soundtrack by Amara Muzik that amps up the energy. Set against Odisha’s vibrant backdrops, it blends mass appeal with heartfelt moments. Though some parts feel familiar in the action genre, the strong performances and fast pacing make it entertaining for fans of regional cinema. A solid festive release.

What Worked

1. The authentic Odia village backdrop and family conflicts feel real and relatable.
2. Ardhendu Sahu’s role as the conflicted guy brings some good energy.
3. Gaurav Anand’s tunes seem to match the emotional highs well.

What Didn’t Work

1. Hype is okay but not massive, might not get big openings.
2. Could feel like usual drama if the twists aren’t fresh.
3. Smaller scale might limit reach outside Odia crowds.
