Our Review

I’m Handsome (Since 2009) is a drama romantic film that attempts to deliver a story of dreams and family but fails to engage the audience due to weak execution and lack of strong content. Durgha Dev Naidu tries his best in the lead role, but the film suffers from a predictable screenplay, average direction and limited emotional depth. While there are a few moments that try to connect, the overall narrative feels stretched and fails to create any real entertainment value or connect.

It comes across as a routine and forgettable watch that doesn’t leave any lasting impression. At the box office, I’m Handsome (Since 2009) opened to extremely poor numbers and has continued to decline with each passing day. The film has failed to attract even the core audience in Telugu states and has almost zero presence in other regions or overseas markets. With a lifetime collection of under ₹1 crore against a budget of ₹4–6 crore, the film is a clear Disaster.

It has been unable to generate any positive word-of-mouth or repeat value. For a project with decent intentions, this is a very poor result. The film stands as another example of how even mid-budget regional films struggle when the content fails to connect with the audience. I’m Handsome (Since 2009) is unlikely to recover its investment theatrically and may quietly move to OTT without creating any impact.
