About The Film

It Ends is a 2025 American horror thriller written, directed and edited by Alexander Ullom. It marks his feature directorial debut. The film is produced by Carrie Carusone and Evan Barber under Growing Up Dead Films and Snoot Entertainment.

Neon acquired the rights for theatrical distribution in the United States. The story centres on four recent college graduates who decide to take one final late night drive together for food before their lives take them in different directions.

What begins as a casual hangout turns into a nightmare when they accidentally turn onto a two-lane highway that appears to stretch on forever.

Confined inside their vehicle and surrounded by strange forces and otherworldly threats beyond the roadside, the group must confront the endless road and decide how to respond to their situation.

Phinehas Yoon plays James, Akira Jackson plays Day, Noah Toth plays Fisher and Mitchell Cole plays Tyler. The film runs approximately 90 minutes and is rated R for pervasive language.

It premiered at the South by Southwest Festival in 2025 before receiving a limited theatrical release in the United States on 21 August 2026. The production was completed on a micro-budget of $50,000.
