Our Review
Om Shivam starts off with this energetic love story where the hero’s all in to save his girl from troubles, throwing in some solid action and a cool Shiva theme that adds depth without getting too heavy. Bhargav Krishna as the debut lead brings fresh energy, and Viranika Shetty holds her own in the emotional bits.
Directed by Alwin Francis, it’s got that raw feel from street play vibes, with songs including a Sanskrit one that hits different. Shot across Karnataka spots, it keeps you hooked with twists, though it’s not groundbreaking. If you’re into desi action with heart, it’s a decent watch for a lazy evening.
What Worked
- Action scenes – high intense fights that feel real and pumped up.
- Music by Vijay Yardley – especially the Shiva song in Sanskrit, gives goosebumps.
- Lead pair’s chemistry – Bhargav and Viranika make the romance believable.
What Didn’t Work
- Pacing in the middle – drags a bit with too many subplots.
- Predictable twists – you can see some fights coming from a mile away.
- Supporting roles – some characters feel underdeveloped.
