Short Review of Usurae
Usurae tells the story of Raghava and Ranjana, a young couple from a village caught in a delicate emotional web due to family opposition. The story unfolds through the voice of a narrator (Pavel Navageethan), lending a folk-tale tone to the film. Teejay and Janany are natural and believable, but the film’s sluggish pacing and lack of dramatic tension limit its impact. It may appeal to those who enjoy simple, rural love stories but fails to engage the broader audience.
