About The Devil and Future Prediction
The Devil, directed by Prakash Veer, stars Darshan Thoogudeepa as a fierce protagonist in a tale of power, revenge, and romance. With Rachana Rai, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Achyuth Kumar in key roles, the film unfolds as a political action drama packed with high-stakes fights and emotional twists. Released on December 11, 2025, under Vaishno Studios, it aimed to capitalize on Darshan’s star power after his break.
Reviews have been mixed, with fans loving the mass appeal and action sequences, but critics pointing out predictable plots and pacing hiccups. Made on a modest budget, it focuses on Karnataka audiences, where it holds strong, though pan-India reach is limited.
Heading into the second weekend, The Devil could add another 5-7 Cr if word spreads, potentially hitting 40 Cr worldwide for decent profits. However, stiff competition might keep it at average status, with OTT release likely boosting viewership later.
