About The Film

Harper and Charlie meet in their early twenties and quickly decide to leave their old lives behind and start fresh together in a new city. Full of optimism, they set out to build a future side by side. Harper is driven and focused, working hard to build a career as a chef.

Charlie is bright and thoughtful, but he has trouble finding his direction and getting himself on track. As Harper’s career begins to move forward, the difference in their pace starts to show, and small strains begin to appear in the relationship.

Told as a modern romance about early adulthood, the film follows the two as they try to work out who they are, both on their own and as a couple. It is a story about ambition, uncertainty, and growing at different speeds, and it asks whether love alone is enough to hold two people together while they change.
