Our Review of Matthu Raa

Matthu Raa is a Telugu adventure drama about four friends addicted to alcohol who make a mistake that leads to funny adventures and sweet moments. Anudeep, Suhana, and Ajay Kumar play the leads well, bringing some laughs and relatable fun to the buddy group. The story has good energy with adventure bits, but it might feel too focused on drinking if not done right, and the low budget shows in some parts. From deep web searches, no box office data or occupancy figures are available yet, as it’s a small release on its opening day with minimal buzz. Social media on X has no significant mentions or reviews, indicating very low visibility and likely near zero occupancy in theatres based on lack of reports. Overall, it’s okay for a light watch if you like simple drama with friends, but nothing too new or exciting.

What Worked

1. The buddy group dynamic promises good comedy and relatable fun.
2. Adventure elements with emotional bits could keep it engaging.
3. Fresh faces bring a new energy without over the top stuff.

What Didn’t Work

1. Might feel too focused on alcohol theme if not handled well.
2. Low budget could show in production quality.
3. Story might turn predictable like other friend group films.
