Our Review of Premigala Gamanakke
Premigala Gamanakke is a Kannada drama with Bigg Boss Shashi and Chirashree in lead, about two couples in live-in during lockdown fun, fights, and life lessons on love without marriage. Directed by Vincent Inbaraj, it targets youth with real talks on relationships.
First half shows daily mess and laughs, second gets emotional on choices. Shashi does good as hero, music okay. Early buzz on YouTube and sites call it heartfelt, good message but simple story decent for family or couples, one time watch if you like light drama
What Worked
- Bold topic on live-in relationships feels timely and relatable.
- Lead pair’s chemistry looks natural from the glimpses.
- Simple storytelling that highlights real issues without overkill.
What Didn’t Work
- Trailer might show too many serious bits, hope for more light moments.
- Not much on supporting roles yet, could use more depth.
- Might feel preachy if not handled right.
Facts and Behind the Scenes

Director Vincent Inbaraj wrote the script drawing from real youth stories, aiming to guide without judging, and they shot in everyday Bengaluru spots to keep it grounded.
