Border 2 Day 23 Box Office Collection – 4th Saturday

Border 2 collected ₹0.80 crore net on its 22nd day (4th Friday) at the Indian box office, taking the total to ₹318.55 crore. The Sunny Deol-led war drama is now deep into its fourth week and showing the expected drop as interest shifts to newer releases.

Early estimates for Day 23 (4th Saturday) are very low so far. Sacnilk data shows just ₹0.01 crore net from morning shows and advance bookings. Saturdays usually help with weekend crowds, but Border 2 is relying purely on word-of-mouth now with fewer screens.

Even with the slowdown, the film has been a strong performer. It crossed ₹300 crore net in India well ahead of many big releases this year and continues to do decent business in smaller towns and single screens.

About Border 2 and Future Prediction

Border 2 is the sequel to the 1997 classic and brings the 1971 Indo-Pak war back on the big screen with big action and emotional stories. Directed by Anurag Singh, it has Sunny Deol returning in his powerful role, along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film has connected well with audiences who love patriotic dramas, especially in Hindi-speaking areas and smaller centres.

It had a solid opening thanks to the Republic Day holiday and kept a good hold in the first three weeks. Even as numbers dropped in the fourth week, it crossed ₹300 crore net comfortably on a ₹275 crore budget. The strong repeat value and positive word-of-mouth helped it stay relevant longer than many other films this year.

The fourth weekend might add a little more, but with fresh releases like O’ Romeo coming in, screens will reduce further. Border 2 is expected to end its India net run around ₹330-345 crore. That would make it a clear hit and a successful follow-up to the original, with solid worldwide numbers too.
