The courtroom drama Haq, starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, is holding steady but facing the usual weekday dip on its fourth day. Released on November 7, the film has been getting good word of mouth for its strong story on women’s rights and solid acting. But with Monday blues kicking in, collections are expected to slow down a bit. Here’s a quick look at the early trends for day 4.
Evening update: The evening shows are seeing a slight pickup compared to the afternoon, with collections around ₹0.5 crore so far. Theatre occupancy in India is hovering at 10-12% in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, while smaller towns are lower at 5-8%. Worldwide, overseas markets like the US and UAE show low occupancy around 5%, as the film hasn’t caught on much abroad yet.
Afternoon update: Afternoon shows brought in about ₹0.4 crore early on. Occupancy in Indian theatres is at 7-9% overall, with metros like Bangalore and Pune doing better at 10%. Worldwide, it’s quiet with minimal footfall in international spots, sticking to 3-5% in key areas.
Morning update: The day started slow with morning collections at roughly ₹0.2 crore. Theatre occupancy in India was low at 4-6%, typical for a Monday. In cities like Chennai, it touched 8%, but most places saw empty seats. Worldwide, early shows had almost no buzz, with occupancy under 5%.
