Ustaad Bhagat Singh continued its gradual decline at the Indian box office on Day 6, collecting a net of ₹1.75 crore. This marked a 30 percent drop from Monday’s figures, with theatre occupancy falling to around 19 percent across 2,709 shows. The Pawan Kalyan starrer, which opened strongly during the Ugadi festive window, is now seeing typical weekday fatigue amid mixed audience reactions and competition from other releases.
Early estimates for Day 7 (Wednesday, March 25) point to further softening, with collections likely hovering around ₹1.00 crore net. Low advance bookings and reduced footfalls in key Telugu markets suggest the film is struggling to hold its initial momentum as it enters the second week.
While the extended opening weekend provided a solid base, the overall trend highlights challenges in sustaining interest beyond core fans. Trade observers note that the coming days, including the second weekend, will be critical in determining the final verdict for this Harish Shankar directorial.

About Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Future Prediction
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a Telugu-language action comedy drama directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role as a principled young man shaped by the ideals of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. It also features Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, and R. Parthiban in key supporting roles. The movie hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Ugadi festival.
The film opened to decent numbers thanks to strong fan support in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but reviews have been mixed. While many appreciated Pawan Kalyan’s energetic performance and select mass moments, others felt the screenplay lacked consistency. This has affected its holding power beyond the festive period.
Looking ahead, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is likely to see limited growth in the coming week unless positive word-of-mouth picks up significantly. At the current pace, it may end its India net run in the ₹80-90 crore range. With a budget of ₹150 crore, the film appears headed toward an average or below-average result and will need exceptional second-weekend business to approach breakeven for its distributors.
