Zootopia 2 Day 2 Box Office Collection India: Early Estimates Show ₹14+ Cr Net on Saturday

After a solid opening day of roughly ₹9.8 crore net in India, Zootopia 2 has taken a healthy jump on its first Saturday. The family audience has come out in big numbers, positive reviews are spreading fast, and the weekend vibe is clearly working in the film’s favour. Early trends suggest Day 2 will comfortably cross the ₹14 crore net mark – a strong sign for the animated sequel.

Evening and night shows are rocking across the country. Average occupancy has touched 72-75% nationally, with many multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune reporting housefull or near-housefull status for the prime-time slots. 3D and English shows are leading the charge, while the Hindi and Tamil dubbed versions are also doing very well in mass pockets. Early estimates now point towards ₹14–14.75 crore net (₹16.80–17.20 crore gross) for Day 2 in India – a solid 45-50% growth over Friday. Worldwide, the film continues to dominate the Thanksgiving weekend charts in North America and is performing strongly across Europe, Latin America and China markets.

Afternoon shows picked up nicely with average occupancy around 54-58% across India. Metros and Tier-1 cities led the way, while Tier-2 centres also showed decent footfalls for a Hollywood animated film. South India (especially Kerala and Karnataka) recorded better numbers than expected for the dubbed versions. Trends at this point were suggesting ₹13.75–14.50 crore net for the full day.

Morning shows opened at around 26-30% occupancy nationally – typical for a Hollywood family entertainer. Urban multiplexes started decently, while single-screens and smaller towns were slower, as expected on the first Saturday morning. Early trends were indicating a ₹14+ crore net day if the momentum continued.
